Second Glorious Mystery: The Ascension into Heaven

He said to them, "Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned… So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs. (see Mark 16:15-20)

Heaven is our hereditary share, our true home, for only in Paradise we shall find our true happiness, and endless days of light and joy. For this reason, Jesus sent his disciples to conquer the world with the words: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19) (Blessed Guido M.
