Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation

During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb (Luke 1:39-41)

Most of all, Mary practices the first of all virtues, which is charity. God appreciates charity, proper to every Christian. The charity of our mother Mary was sublime. When it came to accomplish her duties of charity, she forgets everything in order to bring help and comfort her relative Elisabeth. (Blessed Guido M. Conforti)

Red Color: Let us pray for the Americas: That the Lord may send workers of the Gospel who, following the example of love and urgency of Mary, will bring the message of Christ to all peoples of Americas, so often deprived of ordained ministers. May they be able to listen to the Word of God and be saved by Jesus through the Sacraments.
