We invite you :

GET  TO  KNOW  US  PERSONALLY  !
We offer “Discernment Tools” and ... much more.
We have experienced People,

lively Communities and other Resources.

Check it out for Yourself :

Personal Visit : ask for it and any of our Vocation Ministers will be glad to come to you to share with you about his mission experience and about our community life in an informal way and a relaxed conversation... This will help both you and the Vocation Director of the Xaverian Missionaries to see what your personal needs are,  how you may continue your discernment. If you decide so, this may lead you to the “Application Process.”  In any case, the Vocation Minister will be with you in this search and will share with you his insights and suggestions.

Full-time Vocation Ministers : from them you can solicit any type of material and information. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with them and inquire about anything and/or invite them to call on you and visit you.  They’ll be glad to attend you... It’s their full time service! ... and it’s your opportunity!!!

“Hands-on” Service Experiences (like “Taste of Mission,”  “Peace Camp,”  “Service Week”): most of them are a  week-long experience of service in poor areas, group sharing and prayer. They are usually offered during the summer.

“Karibu” Program :  ”Karibu” means “to welcome” in the African Swahili language. That’s what we call our special discernment program for mission through service, community life and prayer. It consists in living at one of our communities taking part in all activities, volunteering among the poor during the day and having time for personal reflection, and sharing together with the community members  about  our  Xaverian Spirituality  and  missionary work

It can be from three to ten days long... any time of the year. You can ask any of our Vocation Directors when and where the “Karibu” program is offered. At the same time, since this program can take place based on your own schedule, you may also suggest other dates that are better for you: let us know in advance and we’ll be glad to arrange it together with you.  Please, CONTACT US  to know more and/or ask for a “Karibu” brochure.

Vocation Resources : Vocation Resources : brochures, pamphlets, booklets, etc.  about ministry in the Church and about our Founder Blessed Guido Maria Conforti, our Patron Saint Francis Xavier, our formation program, our spirituality, our missions, etc.  Any of this material is FREE.

Mission Publications with News and Witnesses from around the world.  They are put out periodically by our Vocation Team and our Province. You can solicit them... They are FREE of charge!

We invite you to come and see our own communities, talk with any of us and find out for yourself how we live and what we do. Please, contact us.
