he Rosary is an excellent means of prayer and meditation.  Tradition has it that it was given to St. Dominic by our Lady, the Blessed Mother, towards the beginning of the 13th century.  Since 1981, Francis C. Ventre has published the booklet "My Rosary to Our Blessed Mother Mary with Meditations", a complete devotional text. The 15 Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary are enhanced by scripture readings, beautiful paintings and reflections.  And just added, are the Five Luminous Mysteries that the Holy Father Pope John Paul II has introduced in 2002.  Also included in this 84-page booklet are Litanies, Prayers of Consecration, the Angelus, and other daily prayers.
